Bowery To Williamsburg (16 Oliver Ln, Melbourne VIC 3000) is a New York inspired cafe that is worth seeking out. If you feel like something different and want to feel at least slightly cool then Bowery To Williamsburg might be right up your alley.
Bowery To Williamsburg is kind of a working persons cafe (as in you work nearby) or an in the know kind of place. It's pretty hard to stumble upon it otherwise.
As is the way with American food, if you are watching your calories it might be worth staying clear of Bowery To Williamsburg. While I am pretty certain they do not match infamous American sized servings, the food contains all things good (or bad) depending on whether you like to watch your waistline.
Of course, one of the iconic sandwiches that deserves your attention is the Reuben. If you don't envisage coming here ever again do yourself a favour and order a Reuben. Not for the health conscious but it tastes great and might have you thinking about American food in a more positive light. I have to admit as I write this review I have a few cravings myself.
If you didn't figure, I really believe Bowery To Williamsburg is worth seeking out. The food is different (at least if you are not American), it tastes great, the cafe has nice decor and is very inviting. Oh, and the coffee is great too.
If you do make it here, do tell me what you think. It's a bit off the beaten track and I am sure if it was located just a bit more centrally this place would really be rocking. As it is, its like a hidden gem waiting to be found.
