Teller is offers contemporary western styled food with a semi finedining menu. It has high ceilings and a modern design in a classic bank like building. The interior design is nice but doesn't work perfectly probably due to the restaurant being retrofitted into a shape not wholely conducive for a modern day restaurant
Teller has quite a stylish menu with everything from pan fried barramundi, 12 hour roasted lamb shoulder, pappardelle, braised beef cheek, spiced roasted cauliflower, preserved lemon, almonds, currants, mint to give you a taste of the mains. They also have a selction of steaks for the meatlovers including 300g porterhouse, 300g scotch fillet and 1kg o’connor rib eye if you want to go mega. The menu is likely to change over time but this gives you a taster.
Teller also has the classics covered such as battered flathead & chips, chicken schnitzel and the Teller bacon cheeseburger.
For the local Teller offers different specials throughout the week such as Monday schnitzel, Tuesday pasta and wine, Wednesday steak night and a Sunday roast.
For a fineish dining type menu Teller isn't too expensive. However for some of the more standard dishes I suggest the meals are a bit on the expensive side.
Teller offers good quality food, a nice dining experience, a great varied and modern menu and generally nice surroundings. Teller probably isn't the best value proposition going but it never the less does offer you a nice experience. Enjoy the outside area when the weather is right or when they pump up the heating.
