The Pickers Union - Review - Geelong

The Pickers Union restaurant review, Geelong by Howie's Melbourne Food Blog The Pickers Union (3 Mackey St, North Geelong VIC 3215) is a great cafe on the outskirts of Geelong.  If you are going to Geelong for a day trip this is a great cafe to go to if you enjoy your vintage and 2nd hand shopping. There are several large vintage stores here making it a great one stop shop if that's your kind of thing.

It looks interesting doesn't it?
What's great about the Pickers Union is that that really make an effort with their food.  Just take a look at these photo's and you can tell you are getting something different.

Of course, looks aren't everything and i am more than pleased to say that the food is excellent.  In fact it seems to have improved.

Burger
Hipster burger time
The previous time I came to the Pickers Union the burger sounded interesting but was ultimately underwhelming.  This time i was more than pleased. A nice surprise!

Brunch

Yep, the food looks superb and tastes divine as well.  Definitely some of the best looking food I've come across in a while.

Snapshot
The Pickers Union is a great cafe next to a host of vintage and 2nd hand dealers as well as Schots home Emporium.  Make a morning and lunch outing and enjoy a great cafe with some interesting and enjoyable shopping, if you are into 2nd hand goods of course.

The food looks interesting and tastes divine.  Definitely worth a look if you are passing by.

Be warned, it can get busy here.
