Basque Restaurant and Tapas Bar - Review - Chapel Street

Basque is a nice Spanish tapas restaurant on Chapel Street.  I guess you could say it is a good mix of casual dining experience and bar.  It's a perfect place to meet up for a drink and have a nice bite to eat as well.

Sharing Degustation Menu
Basque has an extensive menu of tapas.  Basically, you'll be able to find something you like and something to explore (especially if you are not Spanish).

Being tapas if you do get a selection you'll find you have a few favourites and a few that are good but not to your taste.

If my burger looks a bit unusual for a tapas restaurant you are right. Basque has a brunch and takeaway menu.  I guess, given this restaurant is in Australia having burgers on the menu isn't such a surprise!

I like Basque for what it is.  A nice casual dining/bar experience with a good selection of tapas and engaging environment.  Stay tuned for another Basque review that shows off some of the tapas.

  1. Nice place, one day I'll definitely visit this place. But I would like to suggest one Spanish Restaurant in Melbourne Robert Burns, who provide a truly authentic Spanish cuisine. A must go place. Thanks for the reviews.
