TGI's is ubiquitous across Melbourne. It is a perfectly nice place to get a fair priced American diner type meal. What's that? Try pork ribs in bbq sauce or the infamous buffalo wings!
Anyway, as a chain restaurant once you've been once you know exactly what you are getting. I like TGI's for what it is. It's nicely decked out, not too expensive and the food is pretty good.
One great thing about TGI's is that they have an extensive cocktail menu at a fair price. So if you do feel like having something a bit different the cocktails are the way to go.
As for the food it kind of upmarket takeaway food or pub food I guess. If that's what you are feeling on a particular day TGI's won't let you down.
