Chicco ( 77 Charles St, Seddon) is a fantastic cafe in the suburb of Seddon. I really appreciate the attention to detail of its interior design and the staff were friendly and efficient. It really is a pleasure to have who are actually friendly and seem to want to be there. Hard to achieve but it does happen every now and then.
The food is classic modern cafe styled but all completed with a bit of flare and georgeous presentation. Chicco's have managed to keep a nice fresh tone to the dishes and I really like the bold colours showing off the ingredients in their best light.
As you can see, the poached eggs have been elevated into something a bit special thanks to Chicco's innovative presentation and I love how the beetroot adds a dash of colour to the plate.
As you can see, I like that they have gone out of there way to present there cafe in a slightly different light. Its sort of minimalist with some elements and then a quite creative in other respects.
Chicco's is worth a visit if you live in a neighbouring suburb such as Yarraville, West Footscray, Footscray or Newport. Its sort of a hidden gem.
