Sirens - Review - Williamstown

Sirens (The Beach Dressing Pavilion, Esplanade, Williamstown VIC 3016) on the beachfront in Williamstown holds a primary position as the only restaurant with seaviews of Williamstown beach (Don't mistake this with the port side that faces the city).
Lovely Williamstown Beach
As you can see, if its a nice day you will get to enjoy a great view.  Also ifits one of those 30+ degree days this really is a superb family beach.

Pizza
Well the pizza was satisfactory but hey managed to burn it hence the sliced off edge to this pizza.  From an aesthetic viewpoint this automatically detracts from the dish.  Something they might want to think about as it does leave a bad impression.  All said and done though there was nothing esle wrong with the pizza and it was quite enjoyable.
The sole with capers was nice enough but with all seafood its the quality of the fish that makes all the difference.  Here I would say that this was only adequate.  I'd say it wasn't really fresh so while it was a nice dish in overall terms its was a bit of a letdown.  After all, when you order fish you are generally really looking forward to it.
For the remainder of the dishes I would suggest they are satisfactory but not inspiring.  They do the job and are perfectly nice but you don't go wow that was great
Pasta
So what am I saying.  Well basically that if you are passing by its definitely worth a look and as the only restaurant on this side its perfectly okay.  However, its definitely not worth making a special trip to make it here.
