Food courts are typically a sign of stand clear. After getting a bucketload of deli cheeses it can be tempting to have a nice coffee and snack on the way out. This I fear is how Aroma Bakery Cafe gets all its clientele.
It all looks inviting enough from the outside. Kind of unassuming although the blackboard menu catches your eyes and the smoked salmon stack certainly sounds tempting.
Anyway, its enough to get you to try it out. On getting inside the cafe you soon realise that it really has no character. You also soon find out that customer service is sadly lacking. Anyway, its kind of too late once you have ordered your food.
The smoked salmon stack took a long time coming as did the coffee. And this was when they didn't appear to have any other customers. Pity the lunchtime rush if there is one. So the salmon took forever and proceeded to disappoint. The balsamic vinegar is too overpowering and kills the taste buds. The smoked salmon can't help but be overwhelmed. Coupled with the average to poor coffee its pretty much a once off cafe venue.
