It's a nice funky place albeit relatively small and highly populated. People seem to love coming here. What's great about Shop Ramen is that they have tried to imprint some of their own originality into quite traditional dishes. I'm all for a bit of innovation.
Shop Ramen isn't one of those cheap and easy Chinatown type restaurants so you do pay a bit more. However in return you get a bit of trendiness and their modern take on things.
Shop Ramen is bright and refreshing. Very contemporary, a bit hipsterish and generally high quality. Everythings is a fair price although not a bargain. All up, I like the food and the designer ethic. Worth a try if you are in the neighbourhood.
