Rosetta - Review - 8 Southbank Boulevard, Southbank

Rosetta restaurant review, Southbank, Melbourne by Howie's Melbourne Food Blog Rosetta (8 Southbank Boulevard, Southbank VIC 3006) makes a grand statement.  It just looks that part and even if you didn't happen to like the food you can at least enjoy the environment. I'd be surprised if you didn't enjoy the food though.

A Bit Of History

Being part of the Rockpool group Rosetta has quite a lot to live up to.  Its centrally located on Southgate and has nice views and lots of natural light.  The word regal seems quite appropriate.

Everything kind of just looks the part at Rosetta.

Presentation wise you could say that Rosetta is cliched.  Well, I have to say it is.  But this is in the most pleasant way possible.  The contemporary plating is to the fore and it certainly makes the food look divine.  I am not complaining.

Divine Looking Asparagus
The mains are all excellent although I guess you could say a bit minimalist.  They really are designed to be accompanied with selective side dishes of which there are many.

Fish

I believe you will be more than satisfied with the dining experience at Rosetta.  The food is exemplary and the service impeccable.

Rosetta is also very busy which adds nicely to the atmosphere to go along with the fantastic food.
