How do you stand out in Footscray if you operate a Vietnamese restaurant? Its a very good question given the huge quantity in Footscray but some seem to be constantly busy so they are doing something right. Quan An Dong Que is probably outside the top three busiest in Footscray and fits right in the next tier. I can highly recommend them though as the selection of Vietnamese food is just quite a bit different from probably all of them as well as being of high quality so that it definitely stands out.
Quan An Dong Que has a modern contemporary utilitarian look to its decor. Its nice and distinctive by Footscray standards.

The grilled beef in vine leaves is one of my favourite Vietnamese starters. The classic rice paper rolls with prawns being an equal favorite. On this particular day I was sort of craving having some Vietnamese spring rolls but the healthy option won through. My heart is feeling better.
