The Mess Hall - Review - Bourke Street

The Mess Hall restaurant review, Bourke Street, Melbourne CBD by Howie's Melbourne Food Blog The Mess Hall at the top end of Bourke Street is a great place for a midweek coffee or lunch.  Its unassuming yet attractive looking at the same time.  Its also pretty compact and in a bit of a funny location for weekend traffic but has plenty of punters even in the weekend so it is doing something right.

Unassuming but incredibly busy

Interior - modern, light with a touch of the old

The Mess Hall I would label as good place for workers in the city who want a quality coffee or lunch in a welcoming, attractive and relaxed place.  However, I wouldn't make a special visit for weekend brunch
