Getting to The Commercial Hotel
It has all your expected pub favourites and hasn't really tried to make them more fashionable in any way. This is genuine old school but in a good way.
The decor at The Commercial Hotel is pretty basic. There have been no real efforts to make it more contemporary. Nothing wrong with this. I kind of like this basicness. It is what it is.
What really sells the Commercial Hotel is its sharp pricing and its predictability. It's no fuss and delivers on the promise on the door. It's the kind of place you can keep coming back to week after week knowing you aren't going to blow the budget.
I can't say that The Commercial Hotel has a unique selling point other that it honours the tradition of classic Australian pub and has managed to hold onto user freindly pricing. I should add that the service was great.
