Market Lane Coffee (Queen Vic Market Shop 73-76 Dairy Produce Hall Melbourne 3000) at Queen Victoria market is one of a few coffee places around the market.
Having a coffee at QVM is a bit of an extra. You're already at the market, its typically a weekend and you feel like a nice coffee or you're trying to get over the few drinks you had the evening before. Lol.
Anyway, Market Lane Coffee also happens to be in Prahan. The QVM version happens to be somewhat scaled down so if you want the true Market Lane coffee experience I suggest you head over there.
Market Lane at QVM is quite small and does not have the big, 'I am making a statement' feel of the Prahan store. Here its more about the coffee. It has a faint hipster'ish feel to it but it's quite small. It kind of has a utilitarian feel to it but in a nice way.
Anyway, the most important fact is that the coffee is good. I've only ever been here once but based on this sample I feel you'll get a nice coffee.
