Red Scooter cafe in Brunswick (140 Barkly St Brunswick) is off in one of the side streets. This means that its sadly going to miss the casual passerby traffic.
This is a nice little cafe that has made an effort to stand out of the crowd visually. I like what they have done with the place and it makes an impression. The design element is also obvious in their red scooter logo which is kind of cool.
The caramelised banana with ricotta on toast with drizzled honey and cinnamon is a nice take on the home favourite, bananas on toast. Of course you are paying cafe prices here but it does look good doesn't it!
Anyway, as one of my short take reviews enjoy the pictures and make your way there if you are in the neighbourhood.
Perfect if you want to do a bit of second hand shopping at the Brotherhood of St Laurence and grab a coffee or brunch afterwards.
