Cafe Boutique is a nice cafe by Edgewater, basically close to Highpoint Shopping Centre in the western suburbs. Its big selling point is obviously that it is by the lake and that it is one of only two dining establishments to choose from.
Anyway, this really is a brunch/lunch type of place. The interior is modern almost garish and will not appeal to everyones tastes. I like that it has kind of made a statement but I know it's not going to appeal to everyone.
As a brunch spot its kind of disappointing that the cafe does not quite front the lake directly. I can understand that the apartments got the best spots but it would definitely add to the appeal of the cafe.
