State Of Grace - Review - King St

State Of Grace is a European, semi bohemia styled trendy restaurant and includes both basement and rooftop bar.

Interior

State of Grace stands out from the crowd and this alone makes its special. We have to treasure those places that are unique as it makes dining out so much more special. Old faithful is nice but we do need variety in our lives to maintain our sanity, especially in this time of Covid-19.

European luxury

It's new location on King St isn't quite as exclusive as Collins St but its in the same neck of the woods. Somewhat harder to find and come across for a non-local worker or inner city resident though.

Pork

You pay for State Of Grace's European chic but all up I'd suggest it's fair pricing for the unique atmosphere and styling you get. Some things have value not only in the monetary sense and I think this applies to State Of Grace. Not to say it's expensive, only to say that pricing is fair given the effort State Of Grace makes to stand out from the crowd.

Food

I enjoyed the food at State Of Grace and it has the typical modern form of presentation. No, its no longer unique or cool but it does make the impression that you are going somewhere special and they have pride in their artistic expression.

Meat

They do manage to add a few nice touches to the food and include some unusual vegetables as well. Great effort by State Of Grace.

More meat

All up I think State Of Grace is worth seeking out given its harder to find new location. A bit of cool or should I say elegant chic is worth adding to your dining experience
