Note that you are really going for the food and the service. Something isn't quite right with the interior design. While it isn't bad it just doesn't grab you as trendy and cool.
The selection of food is quite contemporary and modern with great presentation and importantly tastes great. It's not particularly ethnic but it's a cafe not a restaurant so it's contemporary generally western styled cafe fare is perfect.
They have specials that change all the time so that's important to keep you interested especially for the more local people rather than the weekend travellers. And even if you come semi-regularly it's always nice to know that there maybe something different to peek your interest.
The seafood pasta probably doesn't look the most engaging on the plate but it tastes really fantastic. Just ask my partner who loves it. She's had it twice out of the last three times we have visited. Yes, that's three times in less than two months so we like the place.
Some of the food is typically countryish to appeal especially for the kids. Nothing wrong about this as kids are just as worthy customers as us adults.
