Sekai Japanese Ramen is one of the few Japanese restaurants in Footscray. Like so many of the cheap eateries it is neither great nor bad nor special.
As such, I certainly wouldn't go seeking out Sekai for a special occasion. On the otherhand, its nice and clean, modernish, has a good selection of Japanese food and will not break the bank.
If you live around the area and want something other than the ubiquitous Vietnamese restaurant I would definitely be happy to have lunch here. Dinner not so much but if you just feel like some Japanese ramen then Sekai is definitely suitable.
As you can see all the meals look pretty good and it is a generally a nice place to eat.
