The Guilded Lily in Healesville is a character filled little cafe in Healesville. It offers a bit of everything. Cafe, nick nak shop, clothes, art so its well worth popping in although Healesville being Healesville you kind of see everything anyway.
This isn't really a place for a substantial cafe lunch. Think lighter meals although they do manage to have a bit of originality as you'll see later on.
This eggplant stack certainly has a nice healthy look to it. Its nice to have an eggplant dish that isn't totally smothered in oil. I love eggplant but nearly every dish is layered in oil. This was nice although it probably could have done with a bit more flavour.
As I said earlier, The Guilded Lily is really about smaller dishes so if you are particularly try eleshwhere or order more. Anyway, this black rice
