Yet another one of my mini posts. Anyway, Blue Train is a great place to meet up for a casual get together with friends. Its not too expensive and there is a reasonable range of food and I guess their other specialty is Italian. They also do seem to have quite a range of desserts too.
If you can grab a spot on overlooking the Yarra you are also onto a winner. Here are a few shots of some of the desserts. The Toblerone cheesecake seems a popular choice by all accounts.
Blue Train must be doing something right as you can't book tables in advance.
